• A deep appreciation for the environment, the sun, and the natural world was instilled in me from a young age.

My parents encouraged curiosity and creativity… not just in what I did, but in how I saw the world. There was always a sense of freedom in how I thought, explored, and expressed myself, and that has stayed with me.

Over the years, I’ve worked as a commercial photographer, collaborating with brands and bringing ideas to life through a considered, professional lens. That work has shaped my discipline, my eye, and my attention to detail.

But photography in nature has always held something different.

It’s quieter. More instinctive. Less about creating, and more about noticing the subtle, often overlooked moments that already exist.

My perspective on the world, and on our place within it, is deeply tied to those early experiences. A belief in slowing down. In observing. In finding meaning in the in-between.

The Tommy Lavish brand is an extension of that. A collection of moments shaped by nature, curiosity, and a lifelong way of seeing.

Lavish?

  • It goes beyond just a name. For me, lavishness is about embracing life fully… not in wealth, but in how we see and experience the world. A deeper understanding. A richer perspective. A more considered way of being…

Photography is how I express that.
It has become the way I live that out.

Not by forcing moments, but by noticing them. By following instinct, and trusting what feels honest rather than what’s expected.

I carry this mindset into everything I do. A constant practice of questioning the norms that try to shape how we see and experience the world.

The way I see it, “lavish” isn’t about luxury. It’s about abundance. In experience, in connection and in perspective. It’s about slowing down enough to notice the light, the detail, the in-between moments that so often go unseen.

That’s what I’m chasing through my work.

For me, photography is both a creative outlet and a way of moving through the world. One that constantly asks me to stay present and constantly asks me to understand.

My Top Picks!

Company You Keep
from $49.00

I keep coming back to this thought… if you’re swimming with nine dolphins, who is the tenth?

If you surround yourself with a certain energy, a certain rhythm, a certain standard, it’s only a matter of time before you start to mirror it.

Whenever I watch dolphins play, camera in hand, I’m always struck by how similar they are to each other… how they move in sync, how they mirror behaviour without needing to think about it. There’s something instinctive in that, something honest. And it reminds me that we’re not so different. That, in a lot of ways, we become a byproduct of the environment we place ourselves in.

There’s a quiet sense that you don’t just arrive here and take. You watch, you learn, you wait your turn. There’s a rhythm to it, and over time you find where you fit within it. It’s not about forcing your way in… it’s about understanding the space enough to be part of it. That kind of belonging isn’t loud, it’s earned.

Quiet Purpose
from $49.00

Every time I see a lighthouse it reminds me that not everything that matters needs to be loud.
Some things exist quietly, without asking to be seen, yet hold more purpose than we realise.

It doesn’t chase attention. It doesn’t demand recognition. It simply stands where it’s needed, doing what it was built to do.

And maybe that’s the reminder… that purpose isn’t always found in being noticed,
but in being consistent, steady, and present… even when no one’s looking.

All In
from $49.00

Watching sharks feed is incredible. They see the food and they go after it…immediately.

It makes me think about how often we do the opposite in life. Holding back, waiting for certainty, convincing ourselves to stay where it’s comfortable. But the things we want don’t come to us like that. They require movement. They ask for action. And maybe the real shift is learning to trust that instinct to stop waiting, and start chasing what you want, fully, without holding anything back.
