At first glance, it looks like everything revolves around the surfers… the movement, the colour, the depth all centred around them. From where they are, it would feel the same, like the moment exists entirely around their experience, their direction, their place in it.
But step back, and something shifts. You realise it doesn’t revolve around them at all. The ocean moves in its own rhythm, the depth unfolding in ways completely independent of what’s happening on the surface.
And maybe that’s the beautiful reminder.. that what feels central isn’t always the whole picture.
That our experience, while it feels like everything, is only ever a small part of something far bigger than us… just a drop in the ocean.
